Shalom:

Rather than delay the schedule for submission, this can be worked on in
cooperation with the IEEE editor. The index is not officially a part of the
standard, so it does not require ballot approval.

My recommendation is, if the index is not final before the document is
submitted, Stu or Shalom should communicate with Michelle regarding a
methodology for getting the index updated for final publication.

Johny,

I would like to suggest that it would be good if we could get some work
done on the 1364 index, at least redoing the corrections which went into
1364-2001 Version C. Unfortunately, it was not possible to automatically
have those corrections go into the 2005 draft. I would be willing to help
in specifying the corrections. In that case, we might want to delay the
1364 submissions a few weeks, as the current schedule shows it being
submitted a full month before the deadline.
