Hello: To follow up on my action item: "Send the patent LOA (Letter Of Assurance) form out to the group to complete it if they need to do this." I have discussed what the proper course of action is at this point with Dave Ringle, PatCom administrator, and have found that at this point, the proper procedure is as follows. If a working group member asserts that an entity has or might have a patent, they should bring it to the attention of the working group chair. The working group chair will then send a patent letter of assurance request to that entity. Please direct any further inquiries regarding this matter to Johny Srouji, Dave Ringle (d.ringle@ieee.org), or to me. Please do not "reply all" on any responses. Note that further information regarding this matter can be found at: http://standards.ieee.org/board/pat/guide.html I am always available for questions. Regards, Noelle -- Noelle D.
