Oops, Neil reminded me.
There is one change in 367 that I don't like:
For the conflict in 3.7
Replace:
SystemVerilog includes a string data type, which is an ordered
collection of characters.
With:
SystemVerilog includes a string data type. A value of the string
data type is an ordered collection of characters.
I think the new formulation is wierd and unnatural and therefore unclear.
I see no problem with the original formulation. I don't see a collection as
being a value.
If the new formulation is nevertheless approved, I think it would be better
to say, "The value" rather than "A value".
I do agree that the number of changes in 254 is very great, but I am not able
to comment on the specific changes for lack of background.
