Hi Jim:

That is how it seems on the face of things, but there may be some creative ways to maintain your abilities to contribute. I am planning to continue with business as usual until we receive additional clarification from the working group. I presume that will be discussed in the meeting of the working group scheduled for March 10th.

There are many important contributors throughout the SV technical committees in your circumstances. I think everyone hopes we can find ways within the rules for these people to continue their contributions. It will take some time to figure out how this can be done. Please don't stop contributing until we have received additional clarification and worked through our options.

Thanks,
Scott

These new rules appear to effectively exclude folks like Achim and I from participating in the sv-dc working group. Is this correct?

Forwarding a bounced message. Note: I didn't forward all bounced messages from today. I decided to check and see which other bounced messages could be seen based on a reply that didn't bounce.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Karen;

If I am reading this correctly, all 'individuals', not connected to an entity company will be disconnected
from the process, the mailing lists, etc.

Is there a plan to solicit feedback from 'individuals' concerning the draft work being done ?

   Thanks.

Hi, all,

With today's DASC meeting, new operating rules come into effect for us. We will

discuss these at the next P1800 meeting. Attached is a FAQ about the operating

procedures, and the bylaws can be found at:

http://standards.ieee.org/develop/policies/bylaws/sb_bylaws.pdf

I will start removing email addresses from entities who are not IEEE member

entities from the reflectors over the next few weeks.

Thanks,

Karen
