Hi Folks:

I would like to encourage anyone who has not yet sent in roadmap
document content suggestions to do so as soon as possible so that they
will be available to Martin in the creation of the first draft of the
roadmap document.

Best regards,

John Havlicek

Subject: [sv-dc] call for content for roadmap document

Hi Folks:

This is a call for content for our roadmap document. I envision a 3-5
page document that addresses the basic questions "why?", "what?", and
"when?" of the work we envision doing. As discussed in today's meeting,
the "what" will be in terms of requirements. I am not going to define
"requirement", and I have witnessed debates on the differences between
requirements and features.

For folks who have submitted material already, please extract from it
the content that you think appropriate for the roadmap. Of course, you
are free to add other stuff as well.

Here is an outline structure that we can use:

0. Executive Summary

1. Motivation and Use Cases [why]

2. Requirements [what]

3. Timeline and Vision

It will be helpful if you can organize your content along these lines.

Many thanks for your input.

John Havlicek
