Minutes: -------- 1) Arif recalled IEEE rules of conduct. All were aware of them and agreed to proceed. Reminder: Deadlines: 12/01/04 - Closure of errata resolution 12/07/04 - Champions review of the resolved errata 01/13/04 - Draft LRM to the sub-commitees(sv-ac,sv-bc,sv-ec,sv-cc) 01/21/04 - Editorial check of the final LRM 2) Since not everyone voted via email on the ballot sent out on 11/22, it was decided to take a voice vote. Arif moved the motion to pass the errata on the email ballot(196,230,290,296,298). Surrendra seconded the motion. The motion passed without opposition and without absentions. 3) John suggested that the committee should continue to work on minor editorial changes to the LRM, even though the deadline for errata is 12/1. Arif agreed and indicated that there may be some room in the schedule to incorporate further editorial changes. There was no opposition to the suggestion. 4) John described an issue with errata 269, which relates to the allowed specification for disable iff expression in Annex H. The current disable iff definition in Annex H is inconsistent with the proposed change in erratum 269. John proposed to replace b[L_0] with b, since local variables are not allowed in the disable iff expression, and without local variables, b[L_0] becomes simply b. Arif moved the motion to approve this change in Annex H. John seconded the motion. The motion passed without opposition and without absentions. 5) No other issues were discussed. 5) It was agreed to have the next meeting in Jan. after the holidays. The date and time for the meeting will be decided later.
