I do not see that in the mantis that it asks motivating using past gclk functions, but as you wish.

Well, the ballot issue was specifically about motivating future value functions vs the past ones.  So I think it's better to strictly make this example past vs future instead of complicating it with comparisons to stuff from other sections.

Hi Erik,

for 2652, it might be better to use $stable(sig, $global_clock) instead of the gclk function $stable_gclk(sig). It woud tie better to the regular sampled value functions.
