I vote yes on 2110, with the following friendly amendments:

In the example for using covergroups:
1.  Remove the "checkvar bit [3:0] opcode_d1;"  This variable is not
used.
2.  I would change the name of the variable "opcode_d1" in the
covergroup sample method to "opcode", since it is not a delayed version
of opcode in this example.  Also change the name in the coverpoint line.
