Hi John,

I think both amendments have been done. I think Tom's was done a long
time ago.  So what I sent earlier today is hopefully the final. If
Manisha and Tom can confirm, then we can voice vote today.

Friendly Amendments:

In 16.14.2, I would remove the change from "drive random simulation"
to "validate input stimulus"  This particular paragraph is talking about

  random simulation, so in this context I think the original wording was

better.

I vote 'yes' with the friendly amendment that the changes suggested for
16.3 should be removed as the statement being referred (stated below) is
already removed by 1641.=20

Because the assertion is a statement that something must be true, the
failure of an assertion shall have a
severity associated with it. By default, the severity of an assertion
failure is error.
