This includes dynamically sized variables and data in automatic tasks, functions, or blocks. Is a loop index considered an "automatic variable"? I know you mentioned exceptions due to 1995 just above... But I'm worried that this bullet point might be taken as overriding that, since we have a strong "shall not be referenced" statement here.
