A formal translation procedure from the first form into the second one is proposed. This proposal was discussed in the past, but now it requires a formal review before the voting * 2069 "Formal semantics for coverage is missing" Description of global semantics of assertion and cover statements. Changes in Annex F only. * 2100 "Add synchronous resets syntax as oppose to the asynchronous nature of accept_on/reject_on" New operators accept_if and reject_if proposed to represent synchronous aborts. Who would volunteer to review these proposals?
