More comments:

1. At 16.18.5.1 : the sentence below

  "Continuous assignments (see 10.3) shall drive values onto checker 
   variables, both vector (packed) and scalar. This assignment shall
   execute at every time step."

   Is not consistent with ordinary continuous assignment when an
assignment   
   occurs every time the right hand expression changes.
   Why the differences?

2. second example at page 17, I think that

    "checkvar bit fv1[1:0] = '{1:1'b0};"

   Should be 
    
   "checkvar bit fv1[1:0] = '{1,1'b0};"
