Hi, as I mentioned during the meeting, I think it is useful to have a naming convention for proposal files that contains an abbreviated title of the proposal, the Mantis item # and the date the proposal was deposited. In this way, it is easy to distinguish different proposals and versions when you have several ones open in the viewer. For example: GlobalClockPastNextValueFunc.1682.20070909.pdf or GlobalClockPastNextValueFunc1682.070909.pdf or other similar variants. ed > -----Original Message----- > From: John Havlicek [mailto:john.havlicek@freescale.com] > Sent: Tuesday, September 18, 2007 2:09 PM > To: eduard.cerny@synopsys.COM > Cc: john.havlicek@freescale.com > Subject: proposal on proposal names > > Hi Ed: > > Can you send a mail to the reflector about your proposed > naming convention for Mantis proposals?
