Hi all,

As you know, the remaining IEEE P1800 schedule is very tight:

October 1, 2007 Draft 4 with changes passed by the P1800 WG
last Thursday becomes available

November 15, 2007 Feature, corrections, and update freeze in the
SV* committees
November 30ish, 2007 Champions meeting to approve final features

December 13, 2007 Feature freeze in the P1800
January 15, 2008 Pre-ballot draft available

February 15, 2008 Last editing corrections filed in svdb

February 30ish, 2008 Champions meeting

March 15, 2008 P1800 approval due

March 30, 2008 Balloting begins

We have many items in our pipe, and it is absolutely unlikely that we
have enough time to address them all. Therefore we need to prioritize
the remaining items, to choose the most important ones and to assign
them the ETA. Even then the remaining time may be insufficient. I
suggest that based on the assigned ETA we ask for more time from the
committee (of course, we are not guaranteed to get this additional time,
but we can at least try). We need to apply until 1-Oct-2007. For
convenience I am attaching the Excel sheet containing all SV-AC open
items (minor and reopened issues are put into separate worksheets).
Please, send your list of the most important items along with the effort
estimation towards the next SV-AC meeting (18-Oct-2007).

Thanks,

Dmitry
