The reason for this was that we wanted to have a wiki, to make the page easily maintainable, and avoid a years-out-of-date situation in the future. Right now the eda.org server doesn't have a wiki, and doesn't have a support team with the time to install this. Pbwiki gives us a free wiki, in return for putting up with a very minimal number of ads. Also, I have now set up redirection-- so you can still access the new page using the old URL as well: http://www.eda-stds.org/sv-ac/ -----Original Message----- From: Bresticker, Shalom Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 9:23 AM To: Seligman, Erik; sv-ac@server.eda.org Subject: RE: [sv-ac] Proposed new sv-ac homepage URL All the sv committee pages are under eda.org. Why make sv-ac different? And should this page have ads? shalom > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-sv-ac@server.eda.org [mailto:owner-sv-ac@server.eda.org] > On Behalf Of Seligman, Erik > Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 7:14 PM > To: sv-ac@server.eda.org > Subject: [sv-ac] Proposed new sv-ac homepage URL > > > http://sv-ac.pbwiki.com/ > > Feel free to send any questions/comments. > > -- > This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by > MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.Received on Tue Apr 17 09:33:43 2007
