Hi Scott,
No, this Mantis has already been approved by the Champions. It is better not to touch it. Let's make this correction at the editing stage.
Thanks,
Dmitry

Hi Dmitry:
In your status mail to Neil K. on 07-13 you say that it is resolved and ready for a Champion's vote. I guess that it might be under Champion's vote now? Or maybe one that ended Aug. 1? Maybe you can check with Neil and see if we can still modify it or if the Champion's are looking/have looked at it.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott, Anupam,
If I remember correctly, some champions negatively voted on this Mantis. If this is correct, it will be put into the feedback status and then it will be possible to make the change. If they have approved it, I would open a new Mantis. If they did not vote on it this time, we can move it into the feedback status and reresolve.
Regards,
Dmitry

Hi Scott,
I agree this part can be cleaned up some more. What do you think of this change in 16.14.3
Similarly, the scope of a clocking event flows into an instance of a named property or sequence, regardless of whether method triggered or method matched is applied to the instance of the sequence. The scope of a clocking event flows into an instance of a named sequence provided neither method triggered nor method matched is applied to the instance of the sequence. The scope of a clocking event flows left to right across an instance of a property or a sequence, regardless of whether method triggered or method matched is applied. A clocking event in the declaration of a sequence or property does not flow out of an instance of that sequence or property.
We can check with Dmitry on what can be done about this.
Anupam

Hi Anupam:
Today I ended up looking into different behavior among simulators for clock flow and sequence methods. Ed pointed out that mantis 2412 helps clarify the issue with its changes to 16.14.3. I looked at the mantis and it seems to have fallen through the cracks. I mentioned that to Dmitry.
Anyway, my question is regarding the sentence that follows the sentence you strike in 16.14.3. That sentence mentions sequence methods. Should the phrase offset by the comma there also be removed? It might not be worth it depending on the status of the mantis, but it does seem a bit out of place given the removal of the sequence methods restriction. Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Scott
