EM: We should also compare the Sugar document against the requirements. OVA
should only be considered for those requirements that are not addressed by
Sugar. We should have Sugar and OVA on balance in SV-AC to see how they each
address the requirements.
PN: OVA should be reviewed to determine whether it should be accepted. This
is separate from deciding whether OVA or sugar address the requirements.
EM: Is the OVA donation acceptance a fait accompli? We should not bother
with a formal review if everyone is just going to accept it anyway.
What criteria will be used to decide whether to accept the donation. Is it
unique value? If not, then what?
Accellera already has access to Sugar.
PN: Perhaps Synopsys should articulate the added value that OVA provides
over Sugar.
EM: For each requirement: Is the requirement met by OVA? Is it met by Sugar?
Perhaps examples should be provided.
TF: Will solicit volunteers to mark each requirement as supported by each
choice
Discussion on voting procedures.
