For your urgent information…… This was the first I had heard of this, or at least the first time I noticed. From: Lynn Bannister-Garibaldi [mailto:Lynn@accellera.org] Sent: Tuesday, October 13, 2015 5:54 PM To: Galpin Darren (IFGB ATV MCD V) Subject: IEEE 1647 on eda.org Importance: High Hi Darren, Hopefully you’ve gotten the notice that the eda.org server hosted at Stanford University has aged to the point where it is longer possible to maintain and has become unstable. Therefore we plan to take the server offline by the end of 2015. Then IEEE groups are encouraged to migrate to IEEE-hosted services and will be assisted by the IEEE-SA IT Services Department. The contact person at the IEEE is Jonathan Goldberg, goldberg.j@ieee.org<mailto:goldberg.j@ieee.org>. The IEEE can provide a stable, secure platform for its working groups going forward. Jonathan is aware of the closure of eda.org and is standing by to assist you. Most urgently, we are migrating the Mantis bug tracking installation to a new commercially-hosted service, MantisHub, since a few of the Accellera groups actively use this tool. Accellera can host the IEEE 1647 and 1800 mantis projects for a few months until other arrangements can be made. The migration is scheduled to take place over this coming weekend to minimize disruption. The eda.org installation will be locked down on Thursday (Oct 15) in order to prepare the files for transfer. On Monday October 19 the new location will be at https://accellera.mantishub.com/. All user accounts will also be ported, so the login for existing users will remain the same. We recommended that you make a copy of all your current mantis tickets (download to Word and/or Excel) just for backup. Please let your team know that Mantis will not be available from Thursday October 15 until Monday October 19. If you have any questions please let me know.
