RE: read_only()/value()

Hi Darren,
I am handling these changes.
And right off the bat, I have a question on at least the first two occurrences of the change from "value()" to "read_only()". These changes are immediately followed by examples which use the term "value", which you did not change.

I suspect that this is an oversight, and that, for example, I should also change x<value(y) to x<read_only(y) or something similar.

Please advise.

Also, I hope this email address is the correct way to reach you. I already had one email attempt come back as undeliverable.

Thanks. Be well.

Hi Alan,

Do you want to start handling this?

The frame files he's talking about are those in Sharepoint: Specman Document Library: IEEE: 1647-2011-Frame.

I'm not sure whether this has to follow a certain "template" in how the info is presented.

Want to talk about this on Monday?

Hi Karen,

Here are the first set of changes for the upcoming standard - please could you fold them into the Framemaker version. I used tracking within the word document, so hopefully it is clear what the changes are.

Cheers,

Darren

Hi,

Please find attached an updated word document (with tracking switched on) which shows the changes I've done where I have basically replaced value() with read_only(). If we are all happy with this, I can then forward it to Karen for inclusion in the proposed standard.

Cheers,

Darren
