IEEE1647: read_only()

Hi,

I've just raised Mantis issue 0004336, as the method read_only(), which appears to be widely used for constraint generation, is missing entirely from the LRM, hence there is an awful lot of non-IEEE compliant e-code out there. I have some myself written by colleagues.....

This syntax has obviously crept in since the first LRM was released. What worries me is that there may be more examples out there of things that have crept in to usage which are not in the LRM. Is there any way of finding out what changes have been made to the language as supported by Cadence over the past six years or so? And is it possible to set up some kind of system within Cadence so that as and when changes are made/proposed, this WG is notified at least, if not involved?

Cheers,

Darren
