This e-mail also serves notice of the start of the balloting process. The ballot will opened on the 20th August via the reflector on the question:
Do you approve of the ratification of P1647-2010 for submission to the IEEE as a standard?
The proposed timetable is as follows:-
6th August - announcement of balloting process
20th August - ballot opens
3rd September - ballot closes
The next meeting is on the 13th September, but as our bylaws state that I have to announce the results of a ballot within seven days of close of ballot, the results will be announced via the reflector beforehand. I would therefore expect the next meeting to be quite short, and probably taken up by Yaron and myself discussing the next steps....
