• Jerry looking at using DPI for using some of C's randomization functions.
• Jim is continuing work on coverage modeling improvements

Open ISAC ISSUES / Language Requests

• Determine bounds of the target array from within a function call
• Overloading assignment
• Forcing Outputs
• IR2131: Vhpi_user.h requires enum types contents update/completion
  • Jerry to contact OP to determine if it was addressed in VHDL-2008
• IR2130: Ability to overload the assignment operator := would be useful
  • Is a language request, forward to VASG<
  • Peter: Potentially dangerous within a strongly typed, overloaded language. Jim agrees
  • David: could be used in context of fixed and floating point array packages to enforce array bounds to match in index value rather than match in just length.
    • Alternately consider David's concern as a separate issue since it goes in a more restrictive direction
• IR2132: Method to allow functions that return arrays to have knowledge of the array bounds
  • Is a language request, forward to VASG
